Punk Hamster
Punk Hamster[note 1] is a minor character in Undertale. He is a patron of Grillby's and sits at the counter near the jukebox.
Punk Hamster is a gray monster with green hair. He wears sunglasses and a black greaser jacket. Despite the file name including hamster, Punk looks more equine rather than like a rodent.
Punk Hamster expresses displeasure at the possibility that people from New Home will start moving, since it would result in the erasure of Snowdin's local culture. He does, however, look forward to seeing new arrivals struggle to acclimate to Snowdin's climate.
Punk Hamster explains that, due to the overcrowding of the Capital, people are going to start moving to Snowdin. Once the protagonist defeats Undyne, he comments on how Grillby's may have to have chairs to the ceiling if people move in. If either Papyrus or the Snowdin Canine Unit are killed, he instead says that maybe the town will have room.
During the True Pacifist Route epilogue, Punk Hamster expresses relief that Snowdin's culture will not be lost. However, he also states that it might be lost anyway since everyone is going to move out of the underground.
The "Grillby's Rogues' Gallery" on Fangamer provides more information on Punk Hamster. Known as Punk[3] (JP: パンク), he always orders hot milk or a cola, saying he would order something cooler when he gets older despite having gotten the same thing for years. He often hypocritically goes to the Capital for concerts, despite his stated disdain for it.[1]
