Politics Bear[note 1] is a minor character in Undertale. They are located in Snowdin Town, outside Grillby's.
Politics Bear is a brown bear wearing an orange jacket. Their eyes are perpetually closed, and they wear a smile on their face.
Politics Bear is in-the-know about the local political system and readily shares rumors of political happenings in the underground. They enjoy speaking of politics, but they dislike the responsibility of becoming a mayor.
Politics Bear stands outside of Grillby's, to the left of the "OPEN" sign. They mention that Snowdin Town has no mayor and that if there is ever an issue, "...a skeleton will tell a fish lady about it", referring to Papyrus and Undyne.
Once the protagonist defeats Undyne, they say that they may run for mayor as they enjoy politics. If Papyrus is killed, they mention that Papyrus should have gone and met Undyne by now and that they can feel the political system crumbling apart.[2]
During the True Pacifist Route epilogue, they speak about how Asgore gave Alphys a hug after discovering what happened in the True Lab, then mention that Toriel fired her shortly after. They then lament the idea that there are no politics on the surface.
In Deltarune, Politics Bear resides inside Hometown's Town Hall. They speak of the town's political system and about mayor Carol.
