Sad Dragon
Sad Dragon[note 1] is a minor character in Undertale. They wait for the elevator in the MTT Resort along with Business Manticore and Shambling Mass.
Sad Dragon is a green, draconic monster with a pale-yellow underbelly and a pointed tail. They hold a cell phone in their right hand, which is held up to their ear to take a phone call.
Sad Dragon is always on the phone with their family. They are remorseful about their situation, and they let their family know in advance that they will be away for an extended time.
Sad Dragon appears to be unable to go home, and as such has to stay at the MTT Resort. They call home to tell their family that there is some cold pizza in their hoard to eat while they are away,[1] but if Mettaton is killed, they say they might not return home for a while.[2]
During the True Pacifist Route epilogue, they ask if the people on the other end of the phone line are on their way out, and let them know that they will catch up to them later.[3]
Glad Dragon makes an appearance in Chapter 1 of Deltarune as a patron of QC's Diner. They are accompanied by two children and one other adult.
