Profile

Appearance

The oni is a red, muscular monster resembling an oni. They wear a pale-yellow shirt, green pants, and black shoes Two horns are present on top of their head, and they wear a bored expression on their face.

Personality

The oni is disgruntled at the volume of puzzles that are present in the underground, believing that they impede daily life. They note the complexity that many of the puzzles can reach.

Main story

Neutral Route

The oni explains that puzzles were originally used by monsters in order to foil human attacks, but the tradition eventually became cumbersome. He complains about the amount of puzzles in the underground, claiming it is impossible to go even two feet without running into them.[1] If Mettaton is killed, they say that they respect Mettaton for not putting any puzzles in the MTT Resort.[2]

True Pacifist Route

During the True Pacifist Route epilogue, the oni expresses joy at the thought of going to the surface and hope that there are not as many puzzles there.[3]

Notes
