Gift Bear
Hmm? Adjusting the presents is my responsibility.
Nah, to be honest, I just keep looking to see if I've gotten one...Gift Bear
Gift Bear[note 1] is a minor character in Undertale. They are located in Snowdin Town, placing a present under the gift tree.
Gift Bear is a blue-gray bear with an orange outfit. They hold a purple present wrapped with a yellow bow.
Gift Bear is attentive, and they keep track of who places presents under the gift tree. They themselves embrace the gift-giving tradition, but they later admit that they only adjust the presents to see if they have received one.
Gift Bear explains that teens started tormenting a monster by festively decorating it. Thus, the villagers would put presents under the tree as an apology. It eventually became a tradition to place presents underneath a decorated tree.
If the Dogi are killed, Gift Bear notices their disappearances and mentions that they usually give each other presents under the tree.[2] If Papyrus is killed, they ask if someone stole Papyrus's gift, as it is no longer there.[3]
Once the protagonist defeats Undyne, they reveal that they were only adjusting the presents to see if they have gotten one.
During the True Pacifist Route epilogue, Gift Bear expresses eagerness to show their gift-giving tradition to the humans on the surface.

Those two married dogs always put presents under the tree for each other.
It's always the same. A single bone.
But every time, they act like it's the first time they've gotten it.
Then Papyrus comes to take his bones back.
Anyway, where are those two... - ↑
That's strange. There was a present here for Papyrus...

Now it's gone. Did someone steal it?
