Before the Story
Before the Story is listed as the 108th track in the Undertale Complete OST, an add-on to the original UNDERTALE Soundtrack. It is a slower piano arrangement of Once Upon a Time.
It was originally featured as part of the "Ruins" PS4 menu theme.[1] The theme is named after Ruins, and depicts Undertale's Home with Waterfall's light blue stars overhead. It was originally offered as a pre-order bonus[2] to complement Undertale's PlayStation version's release, and uses pixel art by Merrigo.[3] It later became purchasable on Undertale's 2nd anniversary.[4]
This track is also used in Deltarune, where it is the file select theme in the first three Chapters. It is listed as the 40th track in the DELTARUNE Chapter 1 OST and 46th track in the DELTARUNE Chapter 2 OST.
