SAVE Point in Dog Hole[1]

Dog Hole is an area exclusive to the 10th Anniversary Stream build of Undertale. This area is accessed during the epilogue of the True Pacifist Route by entering the dog room behind Snowdin's mysterious door and then entering the hole where the Annoying Dog is in the regular version of the game.

Main story

The Dog Hole is unlocked after defeating Asriel, at which point Glyde breaks into the dog room. The Dog Hole is located in the middle of the room, and appears to be a place where very powerful monsters lurk. Abberant, one of the monsters inhabiting this area, has its mind controlled by a pile of the fur found here.

Geography

Dog Hole is a giant labyrinth made of white dog fur that has accumulated in the span of 10 years. It is inhabited by enemies described as "ridiculously strong". It has a total of 100 floors, with the protagonist entering at 100F. The layout of this area is composed of straight paths that form squares connected by smaller paths.

In the background, some of the floors below the one the protagonist is currently on can be seen. However, the stream has shown invisible walls blocking the protagonist's progress, implying that the area may not have been entirely developed for the occasion.[2] This is further supported by Toby Fox saying that most of the new content was created only to be shown in the livestream and that there is nothing else in this version of the game.[3]

Trivia

  • The SAVE Point text calls Dog Hole a "living labyrinth", and Abberant has its mind controlled by a pile of dog fur. This implies that the location itself might be sentient.
