I kind of prefer "Gaster Follower 1" over "Gaster's Follower 1," though I'm not really passionate about this; BUT ANYWAYS, that's not the reason for this message. What's important is that if we do rename them, there's a bunch of redirect links that need to be fixed (e.g., Gaster Follower 1 leads to subheader Hotland/NPCs#Gaster Follower 1 at the moment). - Some redirects can be seen in here, and wherever this wiki links to the header instead of the redirect (like this page for example). The DR links are mainly on the Hometown/NPCs page and the Gaster Follower page, but those will get fixed when the redirects on this wiki get fixed. A lot of links have to be updated for this kind of change, but I don't really know if the name should be changed like this so I'd rather not participate. - Well, it simply didn't make sense to me that Gaster's own page refers to them as "Gaster's Followers" but the wiki refers to them as "Gaster Followers" everywhere else, so I set out to change it. To me, it's a matter of consistency.

- Right, so with that line of reasoning, it would make sense to change them all to "Gaster's Follower 1/2/3" for consistency. But to me personally, "Gaster Follower 1" is also sufficient as a title even if they are under the umbrella term "Gaster's Followers" on that one page. If anything, I think it would make sense to rename that header to "Gaster Followers" since the meaning is pretty similar.
- Not really sure if there's any easy way to search what other pages link to a nonexistent header besides checking each page in Special:WhatLinksHere, which is a pain. The search engine does catch some of them (inputting "Gaster Follower," with the quotation marks included, in the search bar then clicking "Search for pages containing 'Gaster Follower'"). I noticed that Underground, Fun Value, and True Pacifist Route have links to nonexistent headers for the Gaster Followers. HylianAngel (talk) 10:47, 23 September 2025 (UTC)
