Tough Glove
The Tough Glove (JP: じょうぶなてぶくろ) is a weapon found within the first Dimensional Box the protagonist comes across in Snowdin. It is also purchasable from QC for 50G, and can be taken for free on the Genocide Route. Its defensive counterpart is the Manly Bandanna.
When attacking a monster with the Tough Glove, a single bar slides across the attack meter from either the left or the right. When confirming the attack, a prompt appears over the monster to repeatedly press [CONFIRM] in quick succession. Each time [CONFIRM] is pressed, a small fist appears over the monster, accompanied by a punching sound effect.
Up to four button presses can be inputted before the attack ends. When the button is pressed the fourth time, a larger fist appears over the monster, accompanied by a clapping sound effect.
The Tough Glove's attacking animation
- Using a Punch Card in battle while the Tough Glove is equipped increases the protagonist's AT.
- While the flavor text describes the glove as pink, the artwork within its Steam Badge portrays it as a dull brownish-yellow.
- The Tough Glove has a smaller critical hit multiplier than other weapons, at 2.1x. The slash weapons have 2.2x, while all remaining weapons have 2.75x.
- Within the Tough Glove's attack scripts, there exists unused data for the Burnt Pan using its attack.
