The Steak in the Shape of Mettaton's Face (JP: メタトンのかおのかたちのステーキ), or the Face Steak (JP: フェイスステーキ), is a consumable item sold at the MTT-Brand Burger Emporium. Only one may be purchased.

The Steak heals the most HP out of any food purchased with GOLD; only the Instant Noodles in Serious Mode and Hush Puppy always heal more. Butterscotch Pie, Snail Pie, Bad Memory, and Dog Salad can heal more, depending on the protagonist's maximum HP (the Dog Salad also requiring random chance to do so).

• During encounters, its name is abbreviated as "FaceSteak" in the inventory, unless the fallen human is named "Drak", "Gigi", or "Gugu", in which case it is abbreviated as "Fsteak" (until v1.01) in reference to Gigi D.G.'s Persona 4 comic, in which Shadow Teddie asks for a word starting with "F" and Chie Satonaka answers with "Fsteak". This same scene has later been referenced by Persona 4 Golden.
• The steaks are shaped by Mettaton by pressing his face onto them.
