New Pages Project (Pre-Release)

Hi, this post is for detailing the New Pages Project 2025 (Pre-Release)! The idea behind this project is that we get many new pages on the wikis before Deltarune releases, so that these pages have enough time to get indexed by search engines. Your contributions are mostly needed in either creating new articles from scratch, or splitting off existing sections and reformatting/rewording them to make them into new articles. If you participate, you'll get a new badge showing your contribution to the project!

Motivation

The main motivation for this project is that, by splitting up and creating new pages, we rank better in search engines for these specific terms. We've already split off a few pages, such as Jockington, Catti or Tenna, but it would be good to keep doing this for other pages. By creating new articles, we also prepare for the upcoming release in cases where these articles would probably have to be split off in the future anyways.

What can you do

Don't forget to reply to this post with the page you wish to create, so that other users don't start creating the same page at the same time as you!

We have a list of pages that we think would be good to have:

Characters

  • Father Alvin (Deltarune Wiki)
    • Given that Chapter 4 likely happens in the Church, Father Alvin's involvement in the story is likely going to be bigger following the release of the new chapters.
    • We should prepare for that by extracting his NPC information into a new page.
  • Bratty
    • She has quite a bit of content in her NPC section right now, history with Kris's family, and she is also an available name to be chosen on the introduction screen.
  • Catty
    • Same as Bratty.
  • Pizzapants
    • He has quite a bit of content in his section, some history with Kris's family, and also concept art.

Battle forms

  • Spamton NEO (Deltarune Wiki)
    • We already have the Spamton article detailing his Spamton NEO form as well. The idea is to split off all information related to Spamton NEO into a new character article, so that the Spamton article isn't as huge, and people can more easily look up battle information for the secret boss.
  • GIGA Queen (Deltarune Wiki)
    • Same as Spamton, we already have an article for Queen, but this form has a separate battle and having that in a separate article helps find that specific information better.
  • Mettaton EX (Undertale Wiki) and Mettaton NEO (Undertale Wiki)
    • Same as the above two, but even more complicated! The idea is that both information from the main Mettaton article, as well as his In Battle subpage related to the above forms gets extracted into two new articles specifically for the forms, no In Battle subpages.
  • K. Round
    • We actually had this article before, but then merged it with C. Round. Now that we realize it might not be the greatest idea, we should split the two articles off again.
    • This time we should probably name the page K. Round instead of King Round.
  • Undyne the Undying (Undertale Wiki)
    • Same as Spamton, Queen and Mettaton.

Note that these pages are meant to follow the character page structure, even though they are really just different battle forms of the same character. See the Photoshop Flowey article for an example!

Locations

These Hometown/Castle Town locations have been detailed in their respective parent location articles, but we believe future chapters could bring more information to either these locations or their parent locations so splitting them off prevents overly long pages:

  • Party Dojo (Deltarune Wiki)
  • School (Deltarune Wiki)
  • Dreemurr Residence (Deltarune Wiki)

Events

These important events brought us many bits of lore information, so we believe we should have articles on them due to how many times they were referenced in other articles:

  • Alarm Clock App (Undertale Wiki)
    • When making, explain how the dialogue was published, when, what was the reason for it (and the previous announcement about the actual app), how was it structured, then go into details on what we learned from it.
    • Summarize the main points of the dialogue segments, don't just write out all the dialogue (because the website is there for that).
  • Undertale 6th Anniversary Livestream (Deltarune Wiki)
    • Explain the occasion for the stream, who organized it, how it was organized
    • Mention all the lore drops we received during the event (such as Jockington growing a beard), as well as Toby's concept art
    • End the article explaining the scene where Toby reveals Chapter 2
  • Newsletter (Undertale Wiki)
    • Explain the basics of how newsletter tiers work and where can newsletter archives be found.
    • Summarize the main points we learned from each newsletter.
  • 1st Anniversary Q&A (Undertale Wiki)
    • Not quite sure about this one, though.

Other

  • Developers (Deltarune Wiki)
    • Just like Undertale developers, Deltarune developers should also get their own article.
    • Some places to start from when writing their sections would be Toby's interviews with the development team, with Gigi, and splendidland's comments on the Concept Art page.
    • You can take a look around the web for aforementioned developers and explain where else can they
    • Speaking of which, the Undertale Developers page is also relatively short! If you know of any more details on these developers, feel free to add it.
  • Achievements (Deltarune Wiki)
    • Right now, we have the achievements Toby listed in the newsletter.
    • We will definitely need this page after the chapters release, so it would be good to create it as soon as possible.
    • Based on the Undertale Wiki Achievements page.
  • Undertale Art Book (Undertale Wiki)
    • We are referencing the art book from quite a few pages, so it would be good to have it as an article
    • It would include basic information like when and where it released, and then go into some more important information that we received from it
    • You can determine what is important information based on what are we already referencing from articles.

How can you do it

Visit the "New page" link from the wiki's sidebar, and it'll lead you to a page where you can enter a page name and open the editor for that page.

How do you receive a reward

When participating in this project, you can get the Malius's Page Apprentice badge! Create any of these pages with noticeable effort put into it! If you just create a page with barely any content, and not work on expanding that page later, we likely won't award a badge for that.

You don't have to write out the entire page alone, other users will be able to help with that, but please don't just create these pages for claiming your badge. You can also publish a stubby page and come back to expanding it later.

This is how the badge would look like in your profile:

What else can you do

Suggest new articles for us to create! Notably:

  • We're looking to potentially split off more Hometown/Castle Town locations into their own articles, because we know these locations are going to get more and more content in the future chapters. If you think any more locations are worth splitting off, please let us know!
  • The Hometown NPCs article has so many infoboxes that it's starting to cause infobox-related errors on the backend, and failing to refresh links pointing out of that article. If you think any more NPCs are worth splitting off right now, please discuss!

Replying here to confirm that the UNDERTALE Alarm Clock App article is nearly complete! Just ironing out some information and typos, and any stray face icons that may be missing.

What about the Nintendo direct? Shouldn’t that be on the events?

Also if so I would be interested

Update post that the Alarm Clock App article should be good for mainspace now!

I’m not sure if Undyne’s Alarm Clock face sprite should be used there, but her hair isn’t cut off there. Also, Apparently Napstablook has 2 different face sprites, but his page’s face sprite doesn’t have his slightly cut off on the right.

I’m planning on making a page on the switch direct or something, would that work?

Hmm, the Nintendo Direct itself I feel doesn’t have enough lore drops to warrant a whole page. You can probably expand on it in the Development History article if you think there’s something missing, though!

I notice development history never mentions Pluey, would that be important?

I’ll do mettaton

Pluey development history would be important for the Pluey article, I think. Which we don’t have yet because everything we know about Pluey is just the name lol, but when it gets created we can add Pluey’s development history on there.

Can I add it when we get more info?

Yeah, of course, Though I think we’ll all be racing to add Pluey content at that time lol

For Hometown/NPC article splits, these are my suggestions. Some of them maybe not right-away, but should probably watch out for:

  1. Monster Kid: they’re friendly with Kris, likely reoccurring like in Undertale.

  2. Snowy: there was a lot subtle focus around him and his family in Undertale.

  3. Temmie: Tem. Egg.

  4. Napstablook: Toriel called the police at the end of Chapter 2. There was also a lot of buildup around Napstablook’s ghostly relatives. Also in Alarm Clock App.

  5. Pizzapants: He has his own talksprites, concept art… Toby really likes drawing this guy.

  6. Bratty: Undertale XBox trailer featured her and Catty’s lines. Plus she has a decent amount of text in the article.

  7. Catty: Same as above. Also she appears in Alarm Clock App.

  8. Father Alvin: Very suspicious story buildup, and being related to Gerson.

  9. Onion: Because of referencing something from River Person in Undertale, Spamton Sweepstakes.

Update that I’ve put a light start on trying to split Spamton and Spamton NEO apart. But I really encourage others to edit it, because I’d rather help with other things!

Edit:
Spamton NEO article is up!

Thanks to DubstepDude1 and WitheredFreddy1993 for moving everything!

Sorry for late response. Just finished doing GIGA Queen’s page. I might do other pages depending on if I have time this week.

This looks pretty neat! It’s good for a beginner. Anyways, welcome to the forum!

I think we’re good with the Spamton NEO, GIGA Queen, and K. Round page separations. All that’s left for Deltarune in terms of creating character pages is prob the NPCs Kocka listed that may become important in future chapters (EX: Father Alvin).

For my recommendations, I’d consider some of the characters the Introduction section lists as “interesting”, since I believe this heavily hints of their involvement soon. Most are already set up (EX: Berdly), and the other classmates should have their own pages too like Catti and Jockington.

Thank you all for participating so far! I have updated the above list with checkboxes for done pages. Notably, I added:

  • Undyne the Undying (UT)
  • Bratty (DR)
  • Catty (DR)
  • Pizzapants (DR)

I’ll be thinking about whether we should split the other classmates.

Pizzapants, Catty, Bratty, and Father Alvin’s pages are complete. Took a while but it was quick work. Now all that’s left is the classmates for the time being. I believe the remaining ones consist of Temmie, Monster Kid, and Snowy.

The Dreemurr Residence page on the Deltarune Wiki is good to go. All that’s left for locations for the time being is the School page, which Link is working on. Anyway, feel free to add more polishing to the page I guess.
