The NEO Body was made by December/The Knight

On a different note: Someone on reddit (a Noelle Knighter, at that) actually made a pretty good case for Dess not being "That Girl" like I said and they present some pretty strong evidence that it's Noelle. So for the sake of fairness I'm leaving it here.

I still find it difficult to believe it's not Dess, but it does make me think I might be wrong.

...oh good glooby gaster

Just wanted to say- couldn't Susie still remind gerson of Undyne? since gerson probably knew undyne when he was alive

dunno if im misinterpreting alls this but just a thought

It's not impossible, just very unlikely.

Gerson Deltarune probably knew Undyne Deltarune as in "was aware that she exists", not to the level that Gerson Undertale was fond of Undyne Undertale. Undyne was his number one fan in that universe, just like Monster Kid was her number 1 fan, and yet Monster Teen is nowhere near as fixated on Undyne in Deltarune.

Gerson should also recognize Kris as Asriel's little sibling****** and Ralsei as at least looking a bit like Asriel, but he doesn't interact with these two nearly as much as he does with Susie, and they have many problems he could help them out with. Whoever Susie reminds him of must've been very dear to him for him to focus on her as much as he does.

And I think it's Dess.

Jesus Christ, sibling** not brother*

I feel like Gerson probably knew Undyne to a decent level
given that she was prominent in the police force (selected to become chief after Asgore left, meaning she was probably experienced or something) she might have known the guy who made a bestselling series that's literally a parallel to LoTR

I was exagerating a lot, Hometown is very small so everyone probably knew each other to some level, but we have no reason to believe Undyne was any more special to him than anybody else. She never mentions him, we never see her having or reading his book, or even any book at all.

We know she plays piano well in Deltarune, but we never get told about how much she likes reading.

good point

I agree with you
I think Gerson became close with Dess, who was generally quite similar to Susie, as a mentor while being her schoolteacher, to the extent he could be considered a "loved one" like Ralsei describes
The darkner version of him is based off of Dess's memories of this relationship

yeah, Ralsei specifying "loved one" here is the biggest obstacle for like any Knight candidate that's not Dess, Asriel or Alvin, but Asriel is at college and no one believes Alvin Knight anymore.

First off, we very much know at this point that Ralsei isn't the most reliable speaker.

If my MultiKnight theory is correct, one of those people still could have been the one to open the fountain

This is what I meant by "something doesn't matter because you don't like it". What is even the point of Ralsei lying about the Knight's affection for Gerson? Can he go on the internet and see us discussing this and wants to throw us off? Why?

Besides, we literally see Susie can't bring Gerson back, unlike the Knight. The Knight's darkness just randomly brings back Gerson and were not supposed to think they might've had some deep connection?

This is why I don't like Knight candidate discussion too.

@Ralsei

What if the ch4 dark world WASN'T made by the KNIGHT, but by someone else?
Just a crack theory...

it's not there

nope

uh
what
nonono
freedom is not lost girl

gaster though,
maybe

same

uh
no
but it WAS built off of DBG so close enough ig

all I'm saying is
if alvin's an adult
and gerson taught him
another certain adult holiday may have been taught by him...
one who has a strange interaction following the knight fight...
I'M JUST SAYIN'

hey I was just thinking about the similarities of the two earlier today
I guess I'm not the only one... :smiling_face_with_horns:

uhh never noticed that (don't listen to instances of LG that much, and have surprisingly little Gaster's theme soundtrack)

(The temptation to ping Volnar & All increases yet further...)

I mean, can you explain that interaction?

just going to look up what it even was again
