The NEO Body was made by December/The Knight

he's blue for an amazing reason-?

its tv time with death by glamor makes sense bc of all the tenna mettaton parralells, in my mind anyways

I kinda hear DBG in Its tv time with the saxophone part

Yes, this is an argument I make in my doc. While Tenna may have no connection to Mettaton from Deltarune, he has many thematic parallels to Mettaton from Undertale, and that's why he gets his motif.

I have a segment where I talk about the meanings of colors (Blue, Green and Yellow specifically).

It's pretty self-contained so I might try to abridge it and post it here later.

Can you just post the document link unto here?

yeah sure

Warning though, it's not nearly as direct as this. And there are times where I go on extended bits just to segue into the next actual point.

Lost Girl is being used for the Mikes (literally no relation to Dess), so even if it were there does it even mean anything?

Pretty sure you mean Freedom, which is basically Lost Girl, which is basically Gaster's Theme. Lost Girl also plays for Ralsei.

This argument works against Power Of NEO being a tie to mettaton too doesn't it?

I said Lost Girl not Gaster or Freedom

I don't remember Lost Girl playing for the Mikes. If you mean Battat, that's Freedom.

No.

I mean the sneak theme being used for the Mikes in Chapter 5 we know from the teaser of the Mikes interaction in the newsletters.

You don't know ball

You linked me the wrong place, I had to go looking for this.

You meant the unused Stealth theme that was meant for Chapter 3 and will be used in Chapter 5. It was teased in the Newsletter.

We have no idea of what happens in that scene or the context, knowing that it will likely have two versions, one with and one without Tenna.

The fact that it would play in Chapter 3, in context that we don't know of, also makes sense. Chapter 3 has the most allusions to Dess in the entire game.

It was originally for the stealth segments (unrelated to Dess) and Toby has said that he's just using the motif now without relation to Dess, which could be a similar case.

And of course you edit what you said to correct it but don't remove your insult towards me. Forgive me, but I have no energy for people like you.

@Palladium_standard You need to stop / posting dog, it's getting annoying

Don't worry about it
I actually feel kind of ashamed about being harsh here which is why I haven't been responding to this thread recently

To get into the debate in a more civil way, I would say I don't understand what points you're making for much of this message here. Yes, I doubt Susie inspires Sans to say "get dunked on" or that Gerson remembers Undertale, and I wouldn't say Gerson's dialogue is about Undertale, but dialogue that quotes Undertale and Gerson's Undertale leitmotifs are definitely intentional connections to Undertale, in my opinion. Are you saying that all references to Undertale are as meaningless as Susie saying "get dunked on"?

He says it on the Twitter account, to be clear, and I don't know what you're saying by that Toby is avoiding having Gaster reference himself?

I don't doubt you thought of it by yourself, without seeing it before, it's just that I have seen it before. I could try to find the tweet for you, but it might be difficult. I'll let you know if I find it.

Oh yeah also by the way
It's TV Time! does not reference Death By Glamour ...

...that would be TV WORLD.

Eh, don't stress it. I'm aware that just proposing this in the first place is controversial so I should've expected most of these reactions. I just don't like it when people who don't wanna give me the time of day in the first place just call me crazy and don't argue against anything I said.

Not at all. I actually use many Undertale references as evidence for points in my doc (especially in Chapter 3 discussion)

I just think that many of them might not lead to anything, especially if their extremely explicit like this. When chapter 1 released everyone called it "Undertale 2", when we saw Kris look with red eyes at us we immediately thought "CHARA IS GOING TO KILL EVERYONE!!", then that didn't happen. So I'm trying to look for other answers that try to fit more in line with Deltarune-exclusive evidence.

Basically the same as above. All we knew of Gaster for like 7 years was one hidden dialogue (entry #17) where he used "Darker, yet darker" and "Very, very interesting". So for 7 years we made up a fannon image of Gaster that can only say "Very, very interesting" and "Darker, yet darker" at every oportunity, then we got to chapter 3 and he didn't do that.

It was a point so controversial I cut it from the Doc, but I still believe it. Queen also says "Darker, darker" at the end of the chapter 2 weird route, the Battle's Master (dojo guy) says the Hole was "Dark, filled with Darker dollawers[sic]". It's very stretchy to say these are actually refering to Gaster, so maybe Seam also wasn't.

I can sort of hear it in TV World if I focus (hallucinate) really hard, but I still think It's TV Time has a clearer motif/inspiration. Still, that wouldn't detract from my point, which is that even with Mettaton EX's theme being present, there's no tie to Mettaton Deltarune anywhere, he never even met Kris before we arrived.
