just the cats left @PapyrusPikmin1997

What even happened, I left for a few hours and got flash banged by 35 notifications, and found out there’s only two used enemy pages left.

Me and Papy r gamers. mind doing the cats?

Anyway I'm covering the obstacles now and found that there is some pretty good reason to do it beyond what I already mentioned.

https://deltarune.wiki/w/User:大佬233/Fern - This already does what I described before; noting passages blocked and such.

https://deltarune.wiki/w/User:大佬233/Cactus_(Game) - This is distinct from the Cactus character mentioned on the currently-existing Cactus page, which meant that there were some allusions to cover, as well as the fact this is the only way to die during the beginning of the Sword Route. I decided to bracket it with (Game) because it appears in both LoT and the Original Game and that just seems to make sense.

There'll be a little more with the trees and stanchion. As boring as it is, wikis are best with the boring~

@大佬233 I was considering changing the "Immune at" parameter of you infobox to "LV required" (formatted in the source code as lv) because I think it would be a little clearer. I was also considering making it so the template doesn't add "LV" by default anymore so we can also add "MAX" to it when it's necessary.

Yeah sure, I didn't write it that way originally and don't care too much about it. Go ahead and edit it. I agree that it is more transparent. I think "Immune until" is a better option, or the "Sword immunity" as I originally wrote it.

Anyway, here are the obstacles from the Original Game...

There are also the falling rocks, which I don't seem to see sprites for. Bit curious about the damage calculation there, actually.

Stuff we want:

  • Singing Cat
  • Silent Cat
  • Falling rocks

I'd say these are desirable but at least one person wanted to debate:

  • FRIEND (Game) - almost assuredly useful
  • Tenna (Game) - pt yield, distinct character to tenna given hero_sword and friends, etc
  • Pippins (Game) - Useful trivia here, as they can be destroyed by the sword in LoT if you hack it in. Same with Tenna. also point yield.
  • Shadowguy (Game) - unsure???

Unused stuff:

  • Rotaty
  • Bouncy

I’m working on Rotaty and Bouncy, I’m going to try and load them in to test them.

Bouncy in particular is very interesting, as they have different stats in the Shadow Mantle holder’s room and lots of other code and general behavior changed and attached to that room.

Made an incomplete draft for Rotaty, still working on Bouncy.

Shouldn't we also make drafts for the cat enemies?

That's right!

Very early outlines of the pages have been published.

https://deltarune.wiki/w/User:PapyrusPikmin1997/Silent_cat

@Bowl_of_Curry @MMK-001 feel free to work on these as well

Also edited the navbox so that it links to our drafts, this makes swapping between them when working on this project easier. Of course, once the pages are moved to mainspace, this edit would be reverted. Just a temporary change for now for convienience.

Alr I’ll get on those, also here’s some incomplete drafts of Bouncy, and the unused “Spike hazard”.

Got around to working on the cats!

It seems room_adventureboardtest may be worth having in the Unused section..? Maybe?

I believe the cats and the other non-unused ones are probably ready for mainspacing..? @F-sharp ? Though I guess we never did the little FRIEND enemies.

Great job on the cats! Those pages look excellent.

But it's not time for mainspacing... some pages like blue fish are unfinished.

Yellow lizard also needs some more work.

Would you mind giving them a look for me? Thank you for being so diligent about it!

The issue with them is that the Main story is not complete; everything else is fine.

Additionally, there are discrepancies between navbox and in-page names for the Lizards.

The cyan/jumpy one also lacks an image in the infobox, strangely. Though I do recall it having one earlier.. maybe it was possibly renamed for some reason? I'll check.

EDIT: Alright, figured out what's going on with the Lizards. They got renamed even on mainspace to Yellow, Green, Aqua, cutting the "alt" and "jumpy" terms. Will do this for our drafts to align with mainspace content. We could reconsider later.

I finished the main stories for blue fish and yellow lizard, so every none-unused enemy’s main stories are done.

I think the pages can be mainspaced now, the enemy ones.

Unused content is ok to be mainspaced at a later date.

I can't seem to find anywhere on the wiki listing how much EXP it takes to increase each LV.

Without this info, the EXP info for enemies is (relatively) useless...

So I think it'd probably be good to add the info to the LV section on the Original Game page.

Defo agree, unsure where it is in code tho. I guess you could count manually on project vinetrap or whatever it's called?
