I've been noticing how some people think some items are bad just because their extra buff is bad. Like the O.Glove for example. It is an amazing armor for Susie but people think its mid or just bad because "ScytheMare is useless so why do we need it to be cheaper???" IT HAS 4 ATK AND 8 DEFENSE. ITS AMAZING. Especially paired with the YellowHat Susie can do very good and consistent damage when paired with the DevilsKnife, which I am also going to talk about soon. Anyway, the other flower items aren't even that good lmao??? I think the best ones to get are (obviously) the GreenApron, YellowHat, and O.Glove. The BlueShoes, while having some pretty decent stats, are useless because its outclassed by the BrokenScarf (12 ATK 3 DEF 3 MG) which WILL BE WEARABLE IN CHAPTER 6. And, you might think "But you can attack with Kris and Susie and instantly pacify the enemy if you do enough damage!" No, you cant. Spells are used before attacks so you would just pacify a well-slept enemy and beat it up after. the BlueShoes are useless. Now while the SethSpecs do sound good at first, which are the 4th best pick imo... YOU CANT GRAZE WHILE IN I-FRAMES. WHICH IS BAD. (The stats are good though like all the other flower items). Now, last, and frankly the least, the AquaKnife. It has one feat which is buffing all crit size thingies for everyone. nothing else. It's outclassed by the blackshard and crits are easy to hit anyway. You could argue "but you can carry aquas petal in the light world if you equip it!!!" IS THAT USEFUL? NO. Lastly, The DevilsKnife. It's SO MUCH BETTER than the JevilsTail. I'll even go as far as to say IT'S SUSIES BEST WEAPON. But I've seen people think its worse than the JevilStail because "Ohh all it does is lower rude buster cost by 10%, the attack damage is so bad too!!!" IT HAS A MAGIC BOOST OF 4. And, as far as I know, THE ONLY SUSIE WEAPON THAT BOOSTS MAGIC. It's very good for Susie's magic ACTs! Besides, the JevilsTail gets outclassed in chapter 5 anyway, so why fight a (subjectively) fairly difficult boss for an item you only use for half* the game when you can fight the same boss and get an item that stays useful FOR THE WHOLE GAME. Yes. the JusticeAxe MAY do more damage, but that's only really good for no-mercy routes and fights like the titan since short encounters don't need rude buster and you can't reliably cast rude buster when fighting the Titan due to darkness.. The DevilsKnife is better in every other way. if you max out susies attack stat while using the yellow hat and O.Glove (O.Glove can be replaced for powerband, O.Glove just has defense.) The JusticeAxe only does like 60 MORE DAMAGE for a rude buster! Which is not that good considering 40% tp is so much easier to get in a single turn compared to the usual 50%. THE DEVILSKNIFE IS SUSIES BEST WEAPON but people are so biased torwards the JevilsTail ONLY BECAUSE OF CHAPTER 2 ERA SPEEDRUNNERS. YES, THE JEVILSTAIL IS BETTER IN CHAPTER 2. ONLY IN CHAPTER 2. ITS OUTCLASSED BY CHAPTER 4 AND THE ONLY REASON PEOPLE STILL GET THE JEVILSTAIL IS BECAUSE OF IGNORANCE OR BIAS. THE DEVILSKNIFE IS BETTER.
I still honestly think that SethSepcs are better
They give a huge magic boost, which can be applied to Ralsei as well
Them paired with YellowHat gives you two very good magic boosting items
And I'm sure that the O.Glove will be less useful in the long run that being chapter 7 as we'll probably get items which have better stats
Still the O.Glove is miles better than BlueShoes or AquaKnife
Yeah I think the same, too. There will definitely be more bosses where we have to fight but for right now the SethSpecs may be better. I love my damage builds tho

the best build is sethspecs and dealmaker on ralsei, that way he will never have to worry with bad vision.

Secret Bosses do not affect Pacifist runs.
but maybe you just dont want to be evil and beat everyone up.
But maybe the Roaring Knight gets in your way or you need the magic boost for better healing while fighting Gerson

I already said this, the jevilstail is good for it's magic stat for susies healing on pacifist playthroughs. it is not outclassed by the justice axe, the justice axe is a side-grade. besides, attacking jevil doesn't ruin a pacifist run. The jevilstail is good for susies magic acts like rude buster and heal while the justiceaxe is good for pure attack for no mercy routes and fights like the titan. read my post please.

- Sure, not sparing a secret boss doesn’t ruin a pacifist playthrough in code. But it does make it not completely legit by my own rules.
- The justice axe is going to have some special buff later on, it has that ??? that doesn’t do anything yet.
To summarise all of this:

I don't think so. It makes it feasible to beat up the enemies to half their HP and spare them all at once. Also considering the game puts this much emphasis on Pacify-like spells, there's a good chance we'll soon get regular enemies that can't be spared but can be pacified.
Unless you're on the Weird Route where you can't get the Dealmaker or any of the flower items.

I feel conflicted on whether the Devilsknife or Jevilstail is better on the weird route. On pacifist playthroughs the devilsknife is susies best weapon but on the weird route? The Devilsknife is good for it's 4 magic (I think that's the same as dealmaker) but as you said you can't get the flower items in the weird route that usually replace the jevilstail and also it makes the Noelle grind a bit faster by making some battles take a turn less. the attack boost is also good on Kris when fighting spamton neo.
