Ok, so, the last one didn't go so well, so i'll be doing it in parts

Since last discussion did not go so well, i decided that i'll be putting individual characters/things against others
Now, i'll be making a series of posts about who would win: Hollow Knight or UNDERTALE/DELTARUNE
So, post one:

Who would win?

10675
Kris with starter equipment(wood blade & no armor)
The_Knight_Front
Or the (HK) Knight with nothing but the ol' rusty Nail

  • The Knight

You realize that the Knight can kill the god of light with just the nail right

Exactly, and because of their appearance:
Hydrogen Baby
And Kris is Absolutely a Coughing Bomb

Kris can’t do crap bro
Unless they can save and reload then they’re cooked

I can see it going both ways. If Kris does a mask of damage each hit, then Kris wins easily. Both have canon respawn systems, so it would just go on forever, unless they don't have them. Kris has way more invincibility frames, so they might be able to just repeatedly swing and defeat the knight. The Knight will need to hit Kris 18 times (Knight does 5 damage to Kris's 90 HP each hit), while Kris just needs to land 5, if each hit does one mask. In my opinion, the most important part in my opinion is what combat system they are using. If it's Hollow Knight's, no contest. Knight wins. If it's the Deltarune system, it depends on the attack patterns that the Knight uses. We haven't seen Kris dodge on their own, so for all we know they could be terrible. If the knight just does one attack per turn, it's impossible for Kris to lose. Most likely, the Knight will win, but it is possible for Kris to win.

It really depends on which one has the Player/SOUL

WEare only canon in Delatrune

Good point. However, the Knight was able to survive for an unmeasureable amount of time alone, so they must have SOME combat skills.

No reviving, but if the Knight's Shade defeats Kris, the Knight still win

Ok

So Kris needs to get another hit on the shade

BUT, HOWEVER, the Shade, as a regular enemy, will take Kris's normal damage stat, as they don't have masks

Ah, good point

It also knows spells indenpendently of the Knight

Ok so apparently shades formula for health is nail damage times half of the Knight's max HP at death rounded down so if I understand that correctly, that means the Shade has 10 HP.

Imagine the Knight entering the Bullet Board and Kris using their Light World moveset in Dark World attire in HK's Overworld
The best they hit, the stronger they'll be in the Overworld

So if it's in the overworld, that means the knight can run up to Kris while they're making decisions?

10 FUCKING HP!?!?
