It wasn’t really a lot ”different”. Sure, he left out a lot of stuff, but apart from generalizing the title of the heroes, it’s been pretty accurate.

He doesn't bother to mention the Knight, Asgore, Queen, Tenna, Lancer, or Jorkington. (There's probably more in the Prophecy that I’m forgetting.)
He also doesn't mention events like “THE LORD OF SCREENS CLEAVED RED BY BLADE”.

The Vessel? Kinda surprised that y'all are forgetting about it's existence
To remind you we literally almost got the chance to interract with the world directly through the Vessel. Since the SOUL is already an undeniable part of the Prophecy (both as the soul from the cage and maybe the Angel), I don't think it's farfetched to consider us and the Vessel the supposed first hero, before stuff happened and now it's Kris.
The prophecy doesn't change, Kris, luv.

Chapter 2.
He left out the Roaring with the Titans.
He also lied about sealing the fountains in Chapter 1.
He says in the Legend that “only they can seal the FOUNTAINS” while later he tells Susie that he lied since only Kris can seal it
Okay now you’re just cherry picking.
Even Susie says “Let’s go seal the fountain” even after learning only Kris can do it.
Leaving out information isn’t the same as lying. I’ve said this over and over again.
