I know that, but they're not the only interpretation of him, why do people always use Mystery_man as Wing's image? There are plenty of other things, too, which you could put together to get a more accurate vision, or, considering that he's shattered across time and space, maybe just don't put him there, as he only serves as decoration in that image!

Bc that's basically the only picture/sprite we have of him, and it's even soft-confirmed to be him since Toby keeps putting the sprite in there and then removing it afterwards, like in the vinyl thing.

Because the only other things with solid evidence to be versions of him are a smiley face and a weird placeholder sprite, there’s nothing better to use
Are you saying that, since Gaster is shattered, nobody can do a depiction of him that can be considered accurate unless they figure out what things are pieces of him, and then combine all of them into one (fanmade) design?
Redacted being Grandpa Semi is kind of a weird theory that I can’t fully buy
Redacted speaks in wingdings and connects to the sound test
It’s definitely connected to Gaster in some way, Gaster specifically, as an individual
However, it’s removed from the game and blocked with a dog check, unlike Entry 17, proving Toby didn’t mean for people to find it
It’s also kind of ugly and lame
For those reasons I basically don’t take it as canon
REDACTED is literally just an unused sprite, I don't think it holds any importance.
Sure, it was planned to be Gaster.
But it looks like the plans changed and Toby just redacted the original Gaster.

My headcanon is that Mysterman, REDACTED and are all shards of Gaster
But REDACTED is removed from the game and dogchecked, why assume it has lore implications
