To add to the confusion: Kris and Susie are going in opposite directions relative to the camera. I swear this has to symbolize something.
What if Susie enters Kris's room as the next chapter begins, and finds US? Then gets freaked out about it.
She already saw “US” when the SOUL sealed the Titan.

yes, but then she had little reason to assume there was thaaat much weirdness going on
she figured it was their soul, but as far as she knows their soul is just a body part
it going outside them probably was weird, but they seemed perfectly fine immediately after. so if i were her id probably find it more confusing than concerning, like okay thats a thing they can just do i guess
the soul in the cage though is way more obviously worrying

If we’re allowed to post here again then honestly I believe that Kris wanted to go with Susie, but then the voice on the phone reminded them who their allegiance is really with at the end of the day, and they stopped
The next chapter will probably begin with them getting out of bed
