this is generally my understanding of what roaring knight is in some capacity too imo, though i think this does raise a lot of (super cool!!!) questions about monster physicality in deltarune and etc, though i guess dess could have been eroded by darkness while still 'alive' or something.
RC: addendum: there's, like, an eye or like a pendent or something in her ribcage? maybe she's being possessed by something, hence the eye? maybe its a pendent that keeps her sopping wet? idk what this could mean

oh! Okuu got fed the sun god Yatagarasu and obtained the power of nuclear fusion by another god, Kanako.

"Her abilities come from the god of nuclear fusion, Yatagarasu, and were granted to her by Kanako Yasaka in the god's attempt to turn the Hell of Blazing Fires into an energy source for Gensokyo. RC: it could be that it is an eye resembling whoever the knight's working for's eye but we don't really know who that is (although we have some candidates)
possibly! the eye also reminds me of the eye motif on the Titans in general, but the slit pupil reminds me of like, certain snake's eyes, but that's my evil Earth-posting / 'The Roaring Cries' theory agenda leaking through
it's not perfect match neccessarily if intentional reference, but what I do find very funny about it from a touhou perspective is that as a result of doing this to Okuu the next like, five plus games are Technically Kanako's Fault, also. don't know how that would work with theorizing but i like mentioning it
(Kanako and Suwako are associated with snakes also. everybody needs to think more about 'snakes are mentioned too much even outside of a jockington context' stuff in deltarune, IMO :3)

do you know about Echidna? because I have a ton of stuff scattered across like, six threads about The Earth, The Roaring, and the funny base enemy object where i go 'why is the fact there's an image friend and an enemy Named Enemy that's /also/ a base of the game layers object that is sometimes named echidna' and turn into green pippins like a werewolf.
