I've seen a few people theorizing that Entry Number Seventeen was Gaster creating a Dark Fountain, and they usually point to the lines
DARK DARKER YET DARKER
THE DARKNESS KEEPS GROWING
and
THE SHADOWS CUTTING DEEPER.
These make sense, but there's another line that supports this theory I haven't heard brought up.
PHOTON READINGS NEGATIVE
As my limited understanding of science tells me, photons are light particles.
Darker than dark, negative light, you get it?
Negative photons perfectly line up with :ralsplat:'s explanation of Dark Worlds.

on an unrelated note, why are there three tags for gaster? If there's multiple, at least get it to six.

I mean, I'm pretty sure that the reason that line isn't brought up is because it's so painfully obvious given the nature of dark worlds

It's hardly a theory. We already know Entry Number Seventeen relates to Deltarune due to how deltarune.com quoted Entry Number Seventeen years before Deltarune came out. And once the Deltarune connection is established, we don't have to look into it too much into it in order to arrive at capital 'D' Darkness.
