Why is art so hard

I'm working on a 6 page MEME comic. For a MEME.

So far I have

  • Drew the outlines of the panels, poses, & textboxes.
  • Written in the dialogue.

So far I still have to

  • Draw in the characters.
  • Clean up all the panels and textboxes.
  • Clean up the linework on the characters.
  • Take photos of the pages and put them on my iPad.
  • Lineart ALL of the pages on my iPad.
  • Color all the pages (and likely have a mental breakdown over the colors)

WHY IS DRAWING SO MUCH WORK :(

if your curious I put him in a room with a button labeled Do not press, that's it, that's the entire concept of the comic.

I will be doing this with other characters from other fandoms, I really want to do the same thing with Kris in the room with the button of doom

digital art is to much for me but I still give it a try, so I believe you can do it too
