So In The Weird route We Are manipulating Noelle In Chapter 2 into being we're just "Getting Stronger" And Make Her Use Snowgrave on Berdly making him Frozen Chicken. Now In Chapter Three's Sword Route it has Direct Refrences to Snowgrave. [for example in Puzzle 2 We Use An Ice Mage to freeze the Monsters and use them as objects to Proceed Like We Did With Noelle.]
Now I'm Not saying you cant collect the Shadow Mantle in Pacifist I just find it more Likely that Snowgrave And The Sword route are closer than we thought. plus With The now [Mostly] Full prophecy being revealed to us I Think that if in Pacifist It Wouldn't really make sense for Kris To Be So Upset When Killing Ralsei And Susie In the 3rd Puzzle to proceed.

If you couldn’t get the shadow mantle outside of the weird route then Toby would make it so you can’t get the shadow mantle outside of the weird route
This theory makes no sense on the face of it
And the weird route even changes some sword route dialogue
The sword route is supposed to hint to new players how to get the weird route, not to be a callback to something you already did
Also, I don’t see why you’re saying Kris wouldn’t care about killing Ralsei and Susie in the game

It is still possible that they are connected.
The player is meant to seek the Shadow Mantle only if they're also seeking the Shadow Crystals. Having the Mantle makes getting the Knight's Crystal much easier, and the dialogue in the Sword Route presumes that's exactly what the player is doing.
Doing Chapter 2's section of the Weird Route forces the player to defeat Spamton NEO and retrieve his Shadow Crystal.
It might be the case that after getting all five Shadow Crystals, the player will realize they can't fully obtain their reward unless they do the Weird Route as well. Which is why the Sword Route hints at the Weird Route's existence in the first place.

I didn’t say that the weird route and the shadow mantle “aren’t connected,” that’s kind of moving the goalposts
I do think it could make sense if the shadow crystals are necessary for the weird route, although the game doesn’t explicitly indicate that so far, so for some people it might be a nasty surprise
I find it less likely that getting the shadow crystals in the normal route is basically worthless though
