Understandable. They’re like, slightly under chapter boss difficult.
Not related to the Shadow Crystal quest, so sorry Mike. Gerson it is
(Note:This doesn’t exclude shadow_mantle_enemy because the Shadow Mantle IS related to the Shadow Crystal quest, Seam tells you that without it, the next boss (The Knight) might be impossible. Now sure you don’t technically need the mantle but it’s clearly intended to be linked to the quest)

I beat the mikes first try with one heal, so they are definitely way too easy to be considered the bonus boss for the chapter
Plus, they will likely be fightable in later chapters as well.
I consider them both “secret bosses” but when someone asks for the “secret boss of chapter 4” i say gerson

ACTUALLY, when you think about it, saying that Miss Mizzle is the secret boss of the chapter is like saying that Jonathan Mantleson is the secret boss of Ch3. It, while not required for the crystal, is closely related to the quest.
