When did you discover UTDR?

Personally I discovered UNDERTALE on 2017, I know that because I remember drawing Omega Flowey on the family computer.

And I think I discovered DELTARUNE in 2019 or something.

Discovered as in when I first heard about them or when I first actually played them?

Definitely during lockdown. I'm not sure when exactly but it couldn't be later than 2021.

"Discovered" doesn't inherently mean "played"

Well the thing is I knew both existed for a very long time before I actually started to actually learn about and play the games

Then that would mean about 2023-2024 as my friend with ADHD got extremely hyperfixated on them and wouldn’t stop talking about them. He’s still a huge fan of the games, just not as obnoxious about them lol

However, I actually knew they existed as far back as 2016-18 because of stuff on scratch

And then I learned about deltarune from a Nintendo direct lol

I think I first discovered Undertale through that one Reality Check Through The Skull beat saber video, and Undertale content just appeared on my YouTube after that

Didn't actually play it until 2024

Also didn't realize Deltarune existed until 2024 lol

I watched Brawlfan1's "what if they were in Smash" videos, and he covered most of the Undertale characters
pretty underrated, you should check him out
also all I knew of rivals of aether at the time was that it's the game Johnathan Celery Tomoungus II is from

I could check to see when I got undertale but I can't right now

The first time I actually looked into it (like learning about it not just in-background) was with a project in Scratch that had the complete official OST for UNDERTALE, which I noticed for how good the soundtracks were...
Then I went on the wiki, read a lot, left for a while, came back later, found the .wiki and meandered my way to these Discussions.

was an AU kiddie in 4th-5th grade. played UT but couldnt get past mettaton EX.

this year, my fried kept bothering me to "Play deltarune!!!" so I said what the hell it might be good and well here I am
