At the end of chapter four, Susie aurafarms while saying "we aren't going to let that happen" now, I used to think she was referring to the prophecy, but maybe she's referring to the soriel situation. Maybe next chapter it'll confront family issues?
The Japanese localization is closer to "That kind of thing won't happen. We won't let it happen... ... Right?"
Makes me think it's about the prophecy, but Sans and Toriel would definitely be quite confused hearing that.
Due to it being very similar to how Susie said something along the lines of "Kris wouldn't let it happen, I wouldn't let it happen, and OBVIOUSLY you wouldn't let it happen: I feel like it's definitely the last panel of the prophecy. Though if it's more of a double-meaning line, then this is a cool interpretation of what may be to come.
Then again, I'm not sure "we're not gonna let that happen" to Sans and Toriel would mean? Won't let them get together? Doesn't seem much like Susie's business (though to be fair she kinda dislikes Sans and looks up to Toriel). Maybe not let Kris have to deal with what happened at home? That could be interesting. If so, I'm curious how Susie/ Kris plan to do anything to stop that.
It’s definitely the prophecy
If it’s that other interpretation then like does Susie want to kill Sans or something
I am here to ruin a challenge provided by @JACKBLACKOLANTERN
Susie is extremely straightphobic confirmed
It was most certainly the prophecy. It’d make little sense for it to be about Sansriel.
How exactly?
She's actually talking about how she won't let Catty steal her milk in the alley
Not telling
