- Susie will sacrafice herself to save the world
I Was Wondering What the Community thinks About The Final Propchey and i think ive found the 2 most said so lets decide!
To save the worlds, there is only one way.
The human, the girl must slay.
That’s my theory at least.
First time I'll ever say that we don’t have enough info to theorize.
Like, with the knight, we have a little info.
But with that?
All we know is Susie doesn’t want it to happen.
We also know that both Kris and Ralsei don't want it to happen, and that Ralsei hoped that it could be avoided by "being kind enough".
We can also be pretty certain that it's short and it rhymes with "way" and/or "saved".
If Ralsei knows that there is a player who makes choices for Kris, then Ralsei believes that the player also wouldn't want it to happen.
And I personally believe it involves Susie "doing something cool", and this earlier exchange is foreshadowing it:
Hahaha! Dude, that totally happened!
Didn't know the prophecy was supposed to be this accurate.It... it is, Susie.
Everything it says... will come to pass.Damn... So it like, actually predicts the future?
Dude, that's actually like a big deal.Yes... it is, a big deal, Susie!
... there, uh, aren't any where I do anything cool, right?
Umm...
And then Gerson interrupts them and Ralsei never has to answer the question.
If I had to choose one of these two options, it would be Susie's self-sacrifice.
Ralsei holds both himself and the Dark World in general in such low regards that I doubt he would be so desperate to avoid the Grand Fountain being sealed.
But I also don't think Susie would react that way in the face of a self-sacrifice. I find it more likely that she will have to sacrifice something dear to her. Maybe Kris.
susie killing kris??? the only route i se that happening is weird route.
no i doubt it. we know the Knight And Kris Are working together for something. plus the emphasis susie puts on
“and Obviously YOU Wouldnt Let It Happen.”
when talking to ralsei after shattering the image. so it involes ralsei
I wouldn't let it happen... Kris wouldn't let it happen... And obviously YOU wouldn't let it happen.
This can be read as the Last Prophecy involving Ralsei. But it can also be read as the Last Prophecy involving both Susie and Kris, with Susie going out of her way to include Ralsei in her defiance.
Kris works with the knight. This might be the only way to stop them together.
... Or the player.
We know from Ralsei's version of the Prophecy that banishing the Angel's heaven happens during the "saving the world" part, which is also the part where the final tragedy unveils.
Consider: The player is the Angel, and to banish it and save the world, Susie must destroy it's vessel.
well we were orignally going to have our own vessel if i remember right? [its been a LONG time since i watched or played any Dr chapter 1 content] so hypothetically if the prochpey somehow has our orginal vessel in it, wouldnt that make the og vessel the bansihed angel?
There’s no way it’s the Grand Fountain being sealed. We need at least one fountain to keep the balance of light and dark. If not, why wouldn’t Ralsei be pushing for it to be sealed?
The only way I could see this as a possibility is if we’re somehow unable to seal the fountain in the bunker.
Kris and Susie must complete the school project (JUST KIDDING LMAO)
Susie killing Kris?
BIGGEST PLOT TWIST OF THE CENTURY
Maybe Susie's sacrifice. But I think that she really doesn't want it to happen. Unless it will never happen because Susie smashed the prophecy, causing it to cease to exist, not even after you try to reload the room
I personally thought Ralsei had to die for the Final Prophecy. Just seems most likely to me.
the prophecies (usually?) just respawn elsewhere when smashed
[susie]
- Hey! It's us again!
- Guess there was a backup.
[ralsei]
- ... Even if it's broken, it always appears somewhere else.
- The prophecy can't be changed, after all.
Not quite. If the goner vessel was supposed to be in the Prophecy, it would be as the Cage, not the Angel. It would be in Kris's place.
Also, Kris hoped that the Final Prophecy could be avoided by collecting the Shadow Crystals.
This is what happens when you use a Shadow Crystal near most prophecy panels in Chapter 4:
You held the crystal up to your eye.
For some strange reason, no matter how you look...
The prophecy's text does not warp in the crystal's lens.
And this is what happens if you use a Shadow Crystal near Final Prophecy panels:
You held the crystal up to your eye.
For some strange reason...
The prophecy's text does not warp in the crystal's lens.
You shook the crystal...
However, nothing changed.
There's a desperation is Kris's actions near the Final Prophecy that's not there near the other panels.
Thinking back, avoiding the Final Prophecy may be the thing that the Shadow Mantle enemy mentioned in Chapter 3:
That's why you're searching for them, aren't you?
The SHADOW CRYSTALs...
... and the SHADOW MANTLE that I'm holding!
Do you honestly think it'll get you what you want...?
I’m not sure, but it’s definitely more likely to be sealing Castle Town than Susie being sacrificed
If any particular person is being sacrificed as the central idea, it’s clearly Ralsei
He’s marked with blood in that scene and Susie says he in particular wouldn’t allow the prophecy to happen
However, I don’t strongly believe that
The most convincing theory I’ve heard is that Kris and Susie are destined to fight each other, but even that doesn’t make me feel certainty
It’s very vague and I feel like nobody can think of something that very clearly seems to be the answer to all the evidence
