I feel like fans tend to shove all the endgame stuff into Chapter 6 just because it’s number 6 and then leave very little for Chapter 7, how do you guys map out the story from now on
I think this is how a lot of people map out the locations
chapter 5 - flower shop, self explanatory. Sans secret boss because it would make deltarune sell a LOT more copies, and is a Ralsei solo fight. I saw a theory on reddit that said since Susie is becoming more of the healer, Ralsei might get a Kindbuster spell and become the damage dealer. Probably not going to happen, but could be cool.
Final boss-Asgore
chapter 6 - bunker, you can fight a boss rush in castle town that has all the minibosses, another one that has all the bosses, and a final one with the secret bosses, including John Mantle or Joe Mantle or Eram or Nightmare or Legend of Zelda boss or whatever.
Early on in the story, Kris loses their hand and all of their damage is halved.
Probably gonna be a way to fix it in the middle of the chapter.
Final boss-possibly Friend? I have no clue
chapter 7 - The Roaring, takes plave behind that locked door in Ralsei's castle, no secret boss or tournament, you might get the Vessel as a party member early on and Kris can do X-Slash against all bosses
Final boss-The Angel, or possibly the Knight with Titans fighting with it. Probably the angel for more climax, the Roaring Knight probably creates another Grand Fountain and both of them kind of merge to create the angel
I disagree with some of these ideas and I don’t feel like they’re so universal but I shouldn’t focus on that right now, I’ll just focus on the things that confuse me
What does this mean? Why is the roaring inside the castle? Is Chapter 7 about chasing the knight around in Ralsei’s dungeon?
Are you saying the vessel will join the party, but the player will not control them?
yes to not controlling the vessel, and I think that were going to exit the castle and explore Ralsei's kingdom
Since chapter 2, I always thought it would be really cool if there was a boss in the final chapter where you control Thrash again and fight a bunch of Titans
Instead of just Cyber City scrolling on the sides, it would be in parts reminiscent of areas from every chapter’s world(s), and possibly ones that are never actually seen in game for the places that don't get their own worlds.
I have neither seen nor heard anything to discredit this hope
vessel angel theory
For me, Ch6 will be a Hometown Dark World ruled by Noelle after she created a mega dark world to revive Rudy, and there we'll fight some Titan Spawn esque things because it's the Roaring, but not the full Roaring. Eventually, after fighting Catti alongside Jockington ("Jockington grows the beard"), we talk to Noelle and she finally comes to her senses and we seal the fountain. Or so we think, bc Kris betrays the Fun Gang and, alongside the Knight and Carol, fights us while the SOUL is put into Susie ("LOVE finds its way to the girl"). Eventually, we defeat the KPS, and, through Noelle talking to Dess/Knight, free Dess from Gaster's control. After we defeat them, the Fun Gang forgives Kris, but is cut short with FRIEND trying to capture Kris for betraying them, and during the struggle, Kris loses their hand. FRIEND manages to capture Kris and takes them to the Shelter. We seal the fountain, and enter the Shelter to take back Kris.
Ch7 is more esoteric (True Lab-esque), facing abominations by Gaster with an Omori/OFF-like gameplay, and, when we finally reach them, Gaster monologues how his Deltarune is nearing and that, to achieve it, he must defeat the Fun Gang and Co. Enter the final battle with Gaster, with Deltarune-leitmotifed Penumbra Phantasm as BGM. After we defeat him, Gaster tells his backstory and his goals, and the Fun Gang forgives him, with FRIEND standing down. Kris forgives the SOUL, and, with Gaster's help, we're "banished" from Kris and transferred into our vessel for a bit. After we talk to everyone, including Kris, Gaster finally banishes us and Deltarune ends.

CH6: RUINS?
CH7: Surface?? (Roaring would be drastically different to the rest of the game, so...)

CHAPTER 5: Roots - The chapter where things REALLY get strange from now on.
- ROOTS will be the Hometown/Festival Dark World, being the only dark world outside of the interiors. Flower King is the final part of this larger dark world. The hometown part is BIT ROOTS, the Shelter and BIT ROOTS‘ exit past the school are the Digital Roots. This large dark world would nicely parallel Snowdin, since DELTARUNE weirdly aligns with UNDERTALE’s story.
- Further knowledge of Dark Worlds and Fountains?
- The characters that will be most likely important are ASGORE, who is trapped in an asylum by the prophecy, CAROL, the mayor of the hometown, sans, who is said by Rudy to get his ass kicked, Mike, seriously, the REAL** Mike**. Catti and Jockington, the ULTIMATE academic duo. And Rudy, what illness does Rudy have?
- There probably will be a first story-altering choice we have, and this choice is dedicated to Tenna! Wowzers!
- You will see the Castle Town again!
- The date on which Chapter 5 takes place is Sunday, October 31, 202X, the day of the festival, to which you will see her smile... The location you will find the Forgotten Man is related to wheat or the act of harvesting it.
- NOELLE is definitely going to make a dark world in Holiday Manor. This dark world will likely be based on the GLACEIR level from Dragon Blazers.
- It will likely be the chapter that reveals the lore the most out of all chapters. Lord of the Hammer Chapter 5: The Field of Pink and Gold - “The vast garden is charred in an inferno of jealousy.” that event will likely be DEVICE_FRIEND’s fight, which it will take place in a vast garden, Shadow Crystal Bosses’ and Dess’s backstory likely being unveiled, The ROARING is beginning, a part of the Don’t Forget’s Lyrics “That’s still shining in the cold,” that will foreshadow the story event in Chapter 5, Number 11 will likely be relevant…
- ASGORE’s conspiratorial board and the giant golden floral DELTARUNE doors that lead to another dark world are most likely to come to play.
- Pink and Gold are the colors that are most likely to be a LOT more important to this chapter.
- CHAPTER EPSILON, arbitrarily small dark worlds inside ROOTS, Chapter 5’s larger dark world.
- Chapter 5 is likely RALSEI’s chapter, as RALSEI will use his fire magic more often, along with SUSIE improving her healing magic; he will be the one fighting the final Shadow Crystal Boss and get a powerful scarf for himself in the Normal Route.
- What happens to KRIS? without SOUL, KRIS can’t enter the dark worlds… They will possibly lose their hand in this chapter.
- In this chapter’s Weird Route, KRIS and NOELLE will be together, now that we have leveled up NOELLE enough, KRIS will need EXP to get stronger to progress in preparation for the secret boss, like in BIT ROOTS in the MANTLE Game. The time before this route’s impact will possibly be longer than Chapter 4’s, but shorter than Chapter 2’s, or this route’s impact will be larger than Chapter 4’s, but smaller than Chapter 2’s.
- They’ll see the ring of HEAVEN’s call, they’ll see the TAIL OF HELL take crawl.
- We will probably fight ASGORE in his titan form, he would be like a fully-grown titan...
- After finishing Chapter 5, we will probably see the full legend of DELTARUNE, it’s so blue, and so dark, you will most likely be depressed by the time you learn the final tragedy of this prophecy...
CHAPTER 6: Story’s End - The final pre-destined chapter, after that…
- LOVE finds its way to the GIRL: SUSIE will probably be your new vessel in this chapter.
- CHAPTER ZETA, ...I don’t know the definitive or symbolic meaning of this Greek letter.
- “With the truth, the promise in our hearts...”
- Whatever the Dark World it is will parallel RUINS, the first area of UNDERTALE.
- There will be a major plot point similar to Seven Needles from MOTHER 3.
- You will probably fight CAROL.
- There will most likely be an animated intro of DELTARUNE after Chapter 6...
CHAPTER 7: Don’t Forget - it all stopped.
- “Don’t Forget, I’m with you in the dark...”
- CHAPTER ETA, An estimated time of heroes’ arrival.
- Will Dess meet the same fate as Claus, Lucas’s older brother in MOTHER 3?
- The chapter where we are back in the DEPTHS. We are inside our vessels, we will meet... HIM.
