UnSmart things

Apparently, Toriel had "too much eggnog", and, well, you can see for yourself on I think Papyrus's alarm clock dialouge.

Should I make an overly complicated lore with nothing to do with UT/DR, post it here, and forget about it?

Long ago, in an age forgotten, there were three Titans.
The first, a scarlet flame,
The second, of deepest earth,
And the third, of waves and water.
These three Titans forged a great land, which they named Arcste. Arcste was filled with life, and boundless opportunities emerged-but with no masters, it grew wild, with only the Titans to temper it. And so, they grew from within the deepest grove of Arcste, a great being known as Nyraa. Nyraa was guardian of all that lived, and breathed life upon the lands. They wrought from within the Ancients, the first civilisation. The Ancients forged vast societies, breaking off into four groups-those who stayed within their nature, and tended to flora and fauna as Nyraa's children, those who ventured to the mountains of the Titan of earth, and became the Setra, those who sought the heat of the Titan of flame, and became the proud tribe Aurduin, and those who left in search of the sea, who were never seen again.
Over time, the Setra and the Aurduin became rivals, competing to prove themselves stronger, more advanced and more dignified than one another. One day, the Aurduin, seeking resources, committed a terrible act, stealing the ancient trees of the Ancients, and burning them to fuel their creations. This lead the Ancients to declare war, and the Setra, seeing an opportunity to vanquish their rival, allied with the Ancients. But Aurduin was connected deeply with the Titan of fire, worshipping them and constructing their entire civilisation around them, and so were granted great strength. Little did they know, this war would change the world.

Long ago, in an age forgotten,
Five lords most high ruled the world.
The first lord, of woven song, who wove mortals with silk, the world's end they see,
The second lord, with an earthbound heart, sealed within the mountain dark,
The third lord, of steel forged true, seeks an heir, and Gods they duelled.
The fourth lord, commanding waves of wrath, sunken deep below the seas.
The fifth lord, the nightmare's heart, of brightest flame, who dwelled within the palace stark.
...
These five lords stayed within their domains, the first lord weaving life unto the world, the second lord, who slumbered within the great Arkengrave mountain, which upheld the entire physical world, the third lord, who taught discipline and combat, and strove forwards in technological advancement, blessing civilisation with their contraptions and skills, the fourth lord from whom the ocean flowed, who kept to themselves at the deepest point, and the fifth lord, who kept the very sun in the sky.
These lords were sent to the mortal world by the Gods, mysterious higher beings who created the world, who sent the lords to forge the substance within it. Over time, the five lords began to see themselves as doing most of the work, and after one mortal grew too powerful to the Gods' liking, the lords were commanded to destroy this mortal.
They refused.
This lead to the first Great War, in which the five lords amassed a vast sea of mortal warriors to defeat the Gods. Eventually, both sides were nearly spent, and the lords sealed the Gods away within an intricate prison, which became the sun. The lords, weakened, realised that certain mortals had gained much more power than they thought possible, and believed that they may try to overthrow the lords in their weakened state. And so, they split the mortals into different species:
Elves
Humans
Dwarves
And Monsters.
The Monsters were the most magical, and so the other races, scared of their potential, sealed them underground, where they eventually migrated to the caves within Arkengrave mountain, and worshipped the second lord as their saviour.
The Elves, Humans and Dwarves forged a powerful spell to keep the Monsters underground.
Each race would have a Champion-a powerful figure bestowed with everlasting life, incredible strength and intelligence, and the most powerful magic of anyone within their species.
The Champions were linked deeply with the Seal, so that the Seal could only break if all Champions were slain.
The Elven Champion feared nothing but corruption, and sealed themselves within a beacon, around which a temple was constructed. All their strength and magic was channelled through this, giving the Elves immense prosperity.
The Human Champion feared jealousy would spread, and that they would become a target for assassins, and so used their gift and status to become the unquestionable ruler of the humans, losing sight of their original goal in pursuit of power.
The Dwarven Champion feared only that their power would be taken away, and so constructed a fortress atop Arkengrave mountain's peak, and never emerged from it again, secluding themself from society.
But the spell granted all species a Champion.
And the Monsters were no exception. Their Champion, Egaros, was elected king against their will, swore an oath to free the Monsters, knowing what it would cost themself.
The only entrance to the underground was one-way, in the place they were originally sealed. To prevent anyone from freeing them, the Elves, Humans and Dwarves forged a joint fortress there, intended to be impassable. The entrance to the underground was sealed so that it would only open if a Construct, wrought of merciless steel, was defeated.
The lords revealed themselves to mortals no longer.
...
And the world awaited for someone to free the Monsters.
One day, that someone came.

Long ago, in an age forgotten,
There was none but Orri.
Orri forged the world, and crafted two being below themself to fill the world with anything they desired.
Those two being were that of LIGHT and DARK.
They forged mountains, crafted forests, summoned seas, but as time progressed Orri sought an heir. LIGHT and DARK both believed that they should be the heir, and so crafted wondrous creations of their own-from LIGHT's domain came the Irenn, magestic beings who moved with grace and lifted islands into the sky, living in the clouds.
DARK wrought forth the Charred, failed mortals given a second chance at life. The Charred had a diverse culture, and roamed the surface.
Orri judged the two, and found LIGHT in favour, and so made them the heir. DARK, infuriated, ventured underground, and constructed the ABYSS, a ghastly realm of inky void, which pulled its victims underneath and...changed...them.
LIGHT, feared that DARK was plotting to destroy them before they could claim Orri's inheritance. And so, they committed a dreadful act-they destroyed Orri, seizing their fortune and amassing power. The Irenn were initially jovial that LIGHT now ruled all, celebrating, but eventually they realised what LIGHT had done to Orri, and became disillusioned. The Irenn shunned LIGHT and turned to DARK, but paid a steep price for this treachery. LIGHT purged the Irenn from the world, and waged war upon DARK, believing that they had manipulated the Irenn. LIGHT turned the Charred into mere spirits, stripping them of physical form, and cut their ties to DARK, and sealed the ABYSS away. DARK, fearing their demise, used all their power to cut the world in two, ripping their domain away from LIGHT. Eventually, civilisation would sprout once again in both light and dark worlds, learning of what happened before...
