So I posted this on a Fandom wiki but @Galacta_22 told me I should post it here so here’s this totally serious Deltarune theory that I totally didn’t write in like five minutes for the funny, so I present to you
BARRY THEORY
So to start we need to talk about Kris, Kris is the only human we see in the game which begs the question of where he other humans are, well I believe the hit 2007 animated film The Bee Movie holds the answer, in this movie bees and humans live separately and aren't allowed to interact, I believe something similar is happening with humans and monsters. This is not the only connection Kris has with bees however this is because Kris is yellow and has a striped shirt, you know what else is yellow and has stripes? bees! Kris also barely has any control of their own life and is constantly working under other people, you know who else constantly works under other people? Freaking Bees! Bees work under a queen and you know what game has a queen? Deltarune! This queen has connections to some of the secret bosses, her maid knows of Jevil, Spamton used to live in her mansion and she knows the Knight, this could mean she has a connection to Chapter 5's secret boss, and Chapter 5 will about flowers, what do bees like? Flowers! This confirms that a bee will be the secret boss of Chapter 5 but we can go further, Spamton and Jevil's relationship shows that the secret bosses don't have the best relationship how does tie into bees? Well Barry hated stores for selling honey and Spamton sells stuff so in the past he could have sold honey upsetting this bee character, in The Bee Movie Barry's bee hive is in a tree, you know what trees have? Roots. And as we've established Barry is yellow, you know what else is yellow? FRIEND! The pink represents Mad Mew Mew since she's a cat like FRIEND while the yellow repersentns Barry since he's a secret boss and FRIEND seems to have some importance to Chapter five specifically.
