So there's the Ralsei Titan theory, which is supported by the prophecy panel saying that "TITANS SHAPE FROM DARKENED EYES" alongside the darkened eyes puzzle right at the beginning of Ch1.
What I haven't seen anyone question is the presence of a similar darkened eyes puzzle in Ch3.
Since we don't know of any titan in the actual Ch3 dark world, but we do know that dark worlds can be separated by closed doors, what if there's a titan in Toriel's room?
It's possible that she never entered her room since the end of Ch1, and Kris could've snuck in the window at the end of Ch2 while outside, created that fountain and subsequent titan, and Toriel simply never entered that room since, as she was sleeping in Chairiel from the end of Ch2 to Ch4, and slept on Chairiel again between Ch4 and 5.

Tbh it's been so long since I last actually played the into to the chapter I forgor (I knew that Susie and Ralsei yap while you go down the long and winding path and I remember there being like 10 POINTs in a chest covered in a pile of (not Asriel's) dust but I didn't know there was a darkened eyes puzzle
But it kinda makes sense because like the Couch Cliffs and ??? from the closet dark world are very similar (and if I'm not mistaken a Save Point in the chouch cliffs even calls it ???)
yeah, there's a much simpler version of the darkened eyes puzzle in the couch cliffs, where instead of having to deal with alternating switches, each one just toggles manually, and Susie and Ralsei get 2 of them so Kris just has to get the middle one
I'm sure it's just there for aesthetics to make the couch cliffs feel more full than they are and to show how the trio have grown as a team
