You are completely wrong.
Here's my evidence:
Papyrus is a naive but cunning person. Some people use that as the basis to Papyrus Knight, but I don't think so. First of all, even if he was smart, I don't think he'd know about the Prophecy, as Sans implies they moved here VERY recently.
Papyrus also is welcoming and warm, and when he knows things are wrong, he doesn't do it. Then why would he open fountains? And how would he even know how to open them? And that they even EXIST?
Papyrus is too nice to be a villain, and unlike Undertale there's no reason for him to try and stop you in your tracks, because how would he get friends from inducing a terrible catastrophe?
I rest my case.
My entire reason for outright refusing Papyrus Knight is this:
MY BOY CAN'T BE EVIL I DON'T WANT HIM TO BE!
Yeah, Papyrus and Ralsei are the kindest hearts, untouched by hatred and evil.
Papyrus would never be evil. Even if he tried.
But he'd only have a reason to try in Undertale.
