Hi. I appreciate the edits on the Voice's article. I don't have much experience in editing wiki articles, but I definitely know I don't want to move in the direction of impersonal "edit wars", so discussing them constructively feels more appropriate and also, more fun.
My rationale on my edits was to generally compile a wealthier amount of details about the Voice's personality, rather than feature them solely inthe Introduction page. That said, I do agree that recounting the introduction beat by beat is somewhat redundant. I'd want to put some emphasis on some details like the voice seeming to appreciate not just the connection with the player, but the vessel and general act of creation, as well. Especially if you consider that the vessel is built from a combination of several prebuilt, or I should say, preexisting parts, which seems to fit a lot of the themes of the story of creating things on top of other things. Though this might be veering into speculation territory.
This may be just a general (and fair) disagreement on the tone of the wiki, but generally speaking, I think some articles describing mysterious characters should try to feature a bit more speculative wording. A lot of popular theories are very strong with a lot of evidence, but they are ultimately still unconfirmed, and while I certainly think theorizing shouldn't be treated like a sport, "preparing" for the many possibilities of what this hard to predict story might turn out like is more constructive for any and all discussions between chapters.
In the example of The Voice, the existence of the "second voice" I think is an important mystery that should be acknowledged. In a story that talks so much about the frailty and plurality of identity, it is still possible that there really is no second speaker, and that there is some sort of change in the character being expressed during the Goner maker that we've yet to see properly play out in the main story. This is why I wouldn't necessarily use wording that's completely confident in saying the voice only speaks in uppercase. We have a handful of characters in UT/DR who do show important shifts in speech pattern & presentation during key plot moments, after all.
Looking forward to feedback. Thank you for your time!
