A lot of people know that after ( I think) you enter Queen’s palace, some places in Cyber City are blocked off by giant toilets. If you check it, it says (For some strange reason, a giant toilet shaped toilet is blocking the way.)
In Earthbound, there is a thing that this text hails from. Before you go to Happy-Happy-Village there is a pencil statue blocking the way. If you check this, it says (For some weird reason, a pencil-shaped iron statue is blocking the way.)
Given that Toby Fox is an Earthbound fan, this is definitely intentional. (This is probably already in the trivia for Cyber City, this is just the first time I noticed something like this.)
