Hi,
I edited this Idea into Frisks Trivia section, hinting at the fact they both incorporate at least the same body, but it got quickly undone. I think this Idea does have a lot of merit, tough. You do see Chara take over Frisks body in Post-Genocide True Pacifist endings, it explains their visual similarities, how Chara appears out of nowhere at the end of a Genocide Run and why you don't see them both together.
What do you think?
You probably shouldn't edit headcanons onto factual trivial.
Also chara doesn't take over frisk's body???
Making a connection between the wrappings in Charas coffin and the bandages Frisks starts the game with is not headcannon. It's what happens in the game. The game has a lot of things it merely hints at, so there is no reason not to be allowed to draw attention to this one, too.
The wiki itself says about one of the post-genocide true pacifist endings
as Chara turns to face the screen with red eyes.
I'm not going to play semantics, but if the assumption is that the person Toriel is holding hands with at the end when you decide to stay with her is still Frisk, but that it's Chara that blinks at the screen with red eyes, then it's only logical to assume they share the same body.

We don't need to make that connection for the reader. They should draw their own conclusions from that scene.

There isn't very much evidence that this is true.

How does a band-aid turn into what they use to wrap dead bodies?

Dark World.
But we don't have confirmation if UnderTale is a Light World or Dark World.

why would it be a normal band-aid for frisk but not chara?

Maybe they wrapped Chara in band-aids, as customary?

It’s the other way around. It’s wrappings for dead bodies that turned into a heavily used “bandage” item that Frisk is automatically equipped with at the start. Wrappings and bandages look very much alike, and it gives purpose to the flavor text of the opened coffins that specifically mention wrappings.
I accept that they're a parallel but them being literally the same just feels far fetched to me
This isn’t canon so obviously don’t put it on the wiki
At best you could put a trivia point simply stating the similarity which would probably be on the bandage’s page rather than Frisk’s

I THINK:index_pointing_up:
that that flavor text is there to show how Toriel brang Chara’s corpse to the Ruins to give a decent funeral to them. Like, i always imagine these wrappings as hollow and all spread into the coffin, signaling Toriel bringing them.
Wait Toriel taking Chara’s corpse is canon right??

I think it's the American version of bandage, known as a plaster in some other countries
UT may have even been made before the Light/Dark concept was thought of.
