I don't necessarily think that nonsense discussions being inactive is a sign of the wiki dying, so long as the wiki itself is still actively being edited/corrected/etc. It's fine if people don't talk if they don't have anything to say I think.
I mean, one man’s nonsense is another person’s entertainment . I think that’s how the saying goes
Not saying nonsense isn't fun! Just saying te lack of it is not proof the wiki as a whole is dying. 
Also I am actually on a lot I just see some threads and have zero desire to touch them with a ten feet twenty pole :(
