I think I’m pushing back on all of this because I don’t want there to be like a cliche thing where like Noelle becomes evil and I want it to be more psychological

But like it genuinely makes no sense for her to be happy in that scene either way

I mean it's not AS simple as "We be making her evil now" but when you boil it ALL the way down, that's what it is.

We're psycologically manipulating her into (presumably) our new Vessel, and then we'll leave Kris behind to be evil.

I see evil as typically like

Somebody who does terrible things on purpose, like somebody who likes hurting others

and I don’t think that Noelle will be like that, I think with things like her saying “Thank you” it’s that we’re breaking her will, convincing her that what we’re doing is for her own good

AND IT'S NOT! That's the evil part, we're lying to her and manipulating her just because we CAN. We never had to do the Weird Route. We went out of our way to do it.
