does attacking tenna ruin a pacifist playthrough in ch3? like if i recruit everyone but attack tenna in his bossfight does that change anything? does he still get repaired by susie after the tv world guys tell her how to?

Attacking Tenna and having him get repaired depends on if you recruited everyone or not. Defeating him with violence ends the battle the same way as it does not attacking him, but having him repaired by Susie depends on if you recruit everyone (Like the Shadowguys, Zappers, Lanino and Elnina, Shuttah, etc)

there's a bit of dialogue changes, but only within the boss fight itself, and when he's at low enough health he just starts the Final Episode automatically, ending the fight the same way

attacking tenna has no impact on anything other than battle progression
whether he lives or dies depends entirely on recruits
kesmadjik had a video on this, the only way it could ever affect stuff is if you literally stathacked your save so you could do enough damage to instantly kill/lose tenna before he can start the battle progression thing I'm p sure?
...which is impossible in the base game. so as long as you don't cheat and give yourself one-shot level attack power, it oughta be fine. and besides, that'd just end the battle normally anyway, wouldn't it? it's not like you technically recruit him.
