Subnautica Flora (And Fauna) if They Were in PvZ

The only one I have drawn today is the Bulb Bush. It would fire whatever the blue spots on it are to attack the (currently undecided) enemies. This one is inspired by the Bulb Bush (hopefully obvious since I haven't even named this thing yet), the Scaredyshroom, and the Peashooter.

This thread will picture wise contain minor spoilers for Subnautica, since I’m mostly just doing the flora of the first game. I will, as the title suggests, take inspiration from the fauna of the first game (when I start running out of flora).

When that happens, there will be more major spoilers, since fauna in Subnautica tend to have more story importance than flora.

Hm, would it just shoot the little cyan balls or would it do something else too?

Also love this idea

I don't see reason for it to do much more.

I thought it should just be the basic offensive plant.

The sunflower equivalent would naturally be next... I'll get to work on the think-y.

Honestly the one that makes the most sense there would be the Brain Coral, but coral isn't a plant, and also it produces oxygen, not what plants need to live.

Coral is fine since PvZ has mushrooms which are fungus as opposed to plants.

True. But how do we justify oxygen as the currency for planting aquatic plants?

Good question.

Maybe it produces sun in this version instead?

I suppose.

Pyrocoral will be mostly equivalent to Torchwood.

Yes.

Are anchor pods considered a plant or something else by the PDA?

PVZ has chompers, which are NOT normal plants.

“These unusual flora specimens have been encountered exclusively in the deep reefs.” -PDA, Anchor Pod description

shouldn’t this be in memes and random since this doesn’t have anything to do with UT/DR?

Well it is still Art even if it's :purplesoul: Random.

I could try to make a PvZ fangame out of Deltarune and Undertale since there are a good bit of plants in the two.

Well then what the frick are we gonna do with those? Only thing I could think of would be as a replacement for lily pad or flower pot to let you plant shallow plants in deeper water.

Venus Flytraps: Are we a joke to you?
And if you try to counter by saying they're green not purple, just think of artistic license.

Flower pot can be the exterior grow beds, with lily pads being the lily pads from Below Zero.
