Examples include “Striped Bird” and “Closet Dark World”. Currently, these are always capitalized, but they aren’t official and aren’t really proper nouns, right? Should we stop capitalizing them, since we’ve been trying to stop capitalizing things that aren’t proper nouns, or keep them capitalized?

i think they should not be capitalised, they are just noun phrases
not only we should not capitalize them, we should try to avoid them when possible. "Striped Bird" has a plethora of filenames we could be using instead
huh
@Link What would be your verdict on this? I’m considering the solution being to change these unofficial names to non-proper nouns, like changing “Striped Bird” in body text to “the striped bird”, but I’m not sure if that would be the right move
“Starwalker Bird” is also conjectural, right? If so, then that’s another name this would apply to
I vote we change "Starwalker Bird" to "Unoriginal Starwalker" (/hj)
Why half joke?
There certainly are better names like the one we use now
(also you edited something a second ago didn't you? I saw a weird Knight face)
Not in this thread
Also it's half joking because the name was a joke, but not actually that bad
Hey, sorry for the delay, got backlogged on this among other things!
In the case of “Striped Bird”, we’re due for renaming the character, but it’s a matter of what name! There’s also an unusual case like most_improved_1997, but… it’s clearly a joke. I think unofficial names being lowercased is reasonable, as that was done for Nobody. We also resorted to describing the character as a ghost in other articles as an alternative.
Hold on, they have 1997? Does this have potential for...lore?
