As in, I know it doesn't change much, but would it be better to use the egg each chapter for something that happens in the code?
(Asking this because I forgot to use the eggs in chapter 1 and 2, and I don't want to redo my completionist file in case using every single one does something.)
It's probably not important since we haven't been able to place the egg anywhere for the last three chapters. I think it's the idea of meeting the forgotten man that's more important than anything else. I'd put the odds at 80:20 for not mattering:mattering.
You only need to get the eggs as far as the last man encounter is concerned. You don't have to place the Chapters 1&2 eggs.
Judging by the patch dialogue in chapter 5, I'd say maybe use them.
