I don’t know why, but I think that in chapter 6 Seam is gonna say something like
*Ah, so you’ve collected five shadow crystals.
*But you’re still missing one…
*Oh, that’s right.

And then just impales the soul with a needle and start a purple soul boss fight which is about as hard as sans or smth.
This is never gonna happen, but in my opinion it would be cool

Honestly I don’t know if purple soul is going to be used
First of all it was made for a kickstarter character
Second of all it’s just not good
It’s really the same kind of dodging and moving as the red soul, except your vertical movement is restricted to individual hops
The Muffet fight would work fine with the red soul instead of the purple soul, it might even feel better to play
You can’t say that about any of the other soul modes
And I can’t think of a way to build on its gameplay organically like what happened with the yellow or green souls
But it would be a giant bummer if all of the soul modes are used except this one
But yeah I think that tying a whole soul mode to a kickstarter character wasn't the best choice
