I don’t see why “Appearance” means that “Other appearances” wouldn’t work too. Could rename it to “Physical appearance” I guess? To be fair, appearance is in a completely different subsection. “Also in” could work, I suppose. “In other media” was proposed before, too.
Just feel like “cameos” doesn’t make sense for multiple reasons and it’s surprising how long it’s taken from discussion to this really amounting to anything.
I think that with an "Appearance" and "Other appearances" some people might mistake "Other appearances" with other outfits the character wears or something

Since it’s been a bit since everyone stated their opinions, I’d like to call for a re-vote on this. I’d like to change my vote to “Outside of Undertale” (on Undertale Wiki) and “Outside of Deltarune” (on Deltarune Wiki), since it sounds clear and gives us enough freedom to document various notable appearances outside of the game itself. The notability criteria was never going to be clear from the section name alone, anyways, and we would still have to keep that information in the manual of style like it currently is.

i very much don't want to keep the section title as "cameos", even if we split off "In Undertale" and "In Deltarune", because that title feels uninformative for the content that will remain in that section.
I'll vote for "Outside of Undertale/Deltarune", with "Other appearances" as my secondary vote. I don't particularly like the idea of having two separate sections for what is essentially the same topic when we can just combine them into one.
“Outside of Undertale/Deltarune” is fine with me, with “In other media” being second. The only issue for the former is probably if it also covers merchandise: some articles like Ralsei have unique trivia points on them.
I would go with Outside of Deltarune/Undertale as my first option. Second choice would be other appearances.
Going to vote for Other appearances for this exact reason. Stuff like the sweepstakes, merch, trailers… are all technically both part of and not part of DELTARUNE. Fallback being the “Outside of” ones.
I suppose it could be subsectioned into “trailers”, “sweepstakes”, “merch”, “in Deltarune”, “some other game”. Outside of Delraune feels muddy for lots of those, to me. It works best for stuff where it’s completely unrelated to Toby.
