There's a ton of miscellaneous notes I could contribute, but all you need to know is 'Asgore will be terrorized by silent hill style effigies of people he knows until morale improves' AND these harrowing images:
if you don't know the characters (minus the hero from Moon rpg, the generic Support Reaper from twewy, Koishi, and Arick/Adol from Ys, that's fine.) it's for the best.
... But do go play Loop Hero (source of the quotes on second harrowing image). loop hero is extremely good.

This is actually a good question considering my replay save file's bald, legitimately!
The answer is I don't think people would mistake it for Kris if bald. Our choices matter and in this case I want characters to have sonic adventure 2 mishaps, which are far sillier if the haircut's completely different.

... This does make my 'I think the fact it's specifically pointed out that the vessel won't hear what we think of it RIGHT before it gets discarded, so it had no context for Why That Happened' horrifyingly relevant.
if the vessel Was bald it would be a beautiful callback to the prerelease stuff where there was no longer any denying Asgore's hairline
