The most obvious to me is 0:37 of My Castle Town compared to the phrase 5 seconds into Shop 3, it's a very similar melody and resolves in the exact same way. Not sure how this would be categorized since the rest of it is modified a lot but feel it should at least have a mention on the page.

I don't think this screenshot rlly disproves a connection. I also compared the melodies in a daw beforehand, I wouldn't have made this post if I didnt. Shift down the purple one key and the last half lines up pretty much perfectly, and while the first half is very different it's still in the same scale and shares notes and the same general contour. Don't think it's a stretch at all to say it could be a variation.
I can understand the similarities not being strong enough to justify a mention but the fact that they're both waltzes with similar chord progressions that resolve in pretty much the same way makes me feel like it's intentional.
