Predictions for Undertale’s full game?

FwugRadiation has really outdone himself with the Undertale demo. Here I thought he could only make Earthbound hacks, but no, he’s making a whole original game! (So THAT’S what Underbound 2 was, it wasn’t a ROM hack!)

If you haven’t finished the DEMO yet, go and play it! (Oh, by the way, apparently his actual name is Toby Fox. He revealed that in the demo trailer.)

Anyway, I’m here to try and predict what the full game will be like! Flowey’s aware of SAVEs and stuff, and the ending of the demo implies we’ll be meeting two skeletons. And the final boss is probably Asgore, that’s what Toriel kept warning us about. But, any other predictions?

I noticed something weird about the intro scene, the human we play as only has one stripe on their shirt in the intro… but two stripes in the gameplay. Did we fall before? Is this our second time here? Oh, it was even called Underbound 2 before, it all makes sense! Two stripes for the second time we’re here!

…Or maybe Toby messed up on the art. This is only a demo, after all.

Toby is really putting his all into this game! He deserves the funds. Hmm… maybe datamining the demo can give us some secrets that’ll help us predict the full game?

If you kill all the monsters in the demo, a kid named "Chara" appears in the end. Maybe we will have to fight them in the end of the game if you kill or spare all of the monsters.

Maybe the skeletons will be working for this asgore guy?

Where’d you get “Chara” from? All that happens is Flowey calls us the name we entered in, then at the ending screen we get red text saying “Let’s finish the job”, and the manual gets ruined to also say that. And we see Flowey there too. So the red text is probably Flowey. And they’re on our side. (If we kill everyone anyway. I think they want the monsters dead.)

The closest thing we have to a reference to “Chara” is the filename of the main character, which is “mainchara”.

Though turns out we know who the skeletons are. Not sure how I missed it. But they’re called Sans and Papyrus, they reveal each others’ names at the end of their segment. “SANS! WHO ARE YOU TALKING TO?” “nobody, papyrus”. So we know they’re Sans and Papyrus. and speak in those fonts too.

So, since we’re datamining now, I did some digging into the game files, and I think the name of our character is Mugsy. That’s what the game uses as the default name on GAMESTART if we were to somehow bypass entering a name.

So yay, we know who we are now!

6/29/2013 EDIT: So people around are saying that name doesn’t exist? But I found it in my copy of the demo’s files..

EDIT 2:So apparently Toby made an updated demo on June 8th which removed the name from the code. When I downloaded the demo again, the name’s gone. I wonder if he figured that name was a spoiler or something? But if any of you have a copy of the demo you downloaded when it first came out, you’ll find that name if you peek in the source code.

Also, this might be crazy, but I think one of the skeletons is actually Sans from Smash Bros.

I’m really enjoying this Napstablook character! I hope they have some deep lore implications relating to another character!

This is a wild one... But I think the final boss is gonna be a twist where Flowey appears after Asgore, but it's a wild guess.
