Possible Changes to Chara’s page

I was reading Chara’s wiki page and I couldn’t help but recommend some edits since I don’t have editing.

Firstly, the removal of the statement “and Asriel's remarks following the battle with him indicate they used to call him a "crybaby." This is because Asriel’s line “I was always a crybaby wasn’t I, Chara?” doesn’t explicitly prove that Chara called them it. It would be one thing if he said something like “You were right.” right before he said that, but he didn’t. While we can ascertain that Chara didn’t like Asriel crying, Asriel could’ve been calling himself a crybaby even if Chara didn’t call him that at all as a kind of self-deprecation or something or other. Anyway, what I’m saying is that the line isn’t really an explicit confirmation that Chara called him that and can be interpreted as Asriel just saying that about himself, making it an educated guess at best, and therefore can be removed.

Secondly, I was a little disappointed to see that Toby Fox’s famous statement about them “Now there is one person left to SAVE…Chara.” wasn’t included or explicitly mentioned in the main page since it’s a huge deal because of how it affects or understanding of the character. Even if the meaning of the line is ambiguous, it shouldn’t be very least dimension, maybe in the trivia with the cameos section?

I got confused since I don’t remember explicitly listing the “crybaby” sentence in Chara’s relationship section… I’ll remove it, thanks for bringing it up here!

As for Toby’s line: yes, it 100% can go in the Cameos section. I was actually planning on breaking down how often Chara’s name was chosen, the favoritism for the name, and such in the 10th Anniversary Stream, but I had put it on a backlog. I think during the 10th Anniversary Stream’s week, I was mainly working on the article’s credits section.

Also, since you happen to have an account now, you should be able to edit the Chara article! It’s currently restricted so anons can’t edit it.
