I think we should do this, because it’d be better for an “Employee of the month” Type thing. Instead of being a badge that’s very rare, (Currently only 15 people have it, and a lot of them are gone now), It would be a sign of who’s making the best contributions to the wiki.
What do you guys think?

I love this idea, because at some point, I want all the badges that aren't in the wiki editing category. But this one DOES require you to edit the wiki, AND I'M NOT A NEW USER ANYMORE.
In short, I would like this because it's good for badge collectors (such as myself)
I think badges shouldn't exist except for "trust level" badges and "competitive" badges
But they make you feel good about yourself
Tell me that if you logged on one day and suddenly had the Admired badge or something like that you wouldn't feel happy with yourself, like you've won or something

I don't think this is really necessary.
The New User of the Month badge is awarded automatically based on certain criteria. I’m not sure if the criteria are good, because I’ve often seen it awarded to people who don’t converse much here. I looked around the support forum for the software we’re using and the criteria are definitely not straightforward to everyone, which is why I considered disabling it before.
A “User of the Month” badge would have to be awarded manually, and we’d have to make our own criteria for that. It’s a good idea in theory but I don’t know if we’ll have enough data and remember to award it every month.
Maybe put it into a monthly vote?
If it's just based on talking, why didn't I get it? I talked a LOT in my first month (and still do)
