You don’t get extra damage for inflicting a pokemon with the poison status effect with a poison type pokemon
And same for reverse
Typing don’t affect status effects

Appearantly Blastoise doesn't have immunes.
Nothing is immune to status effects without abilities or items
Same for weather
Sandstorm specifically
Only in addition ground and rock types as well can be immune from it
So i have a Burne Healerre
"In Generations I and II, Fire-type Pokémon cannot be burned by Fire-type moves (but they can be burned by Tri Attack in Generation II). From Generation III onward, Fire-type Pokémon and Pokémon with the Water Veil or Water Bubble Ability cannot normally be burned."
Ice types can't be frozen, Poison types cannot be poisoned unless Salazzle or a pokemon with a similar ability does it, etc.
