I TRIED TO PLAY THE DRUMSET PART ON THE SONG "QUILLS" (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Fs9FFVE_nuk)

MY EVERYTHING HURTS BUT I SOUNDED GOOD

I just learned that nothing is supposed to hurt when you play drums and if it does its because I'm death gripping the sticks ( :plue: ), I don't know how to properly play the drums ( :plue: ), I'm using the kick pedal and hitting it too hard ( :plue: ), and one note by me, IM SELF TAUGHT! I DIDNT KNOW THERE WAS A RIGHT AND WRONG WAY TO PLAY THE DRUMS! AAGGGHHHHH!

EDIT AGHHH I JUST CAME BACK FROM PLAYING AGAIN AND THIS TIME I WAS TRYING TO PLAY SMELLS LIKE TEEN SPIRIT AAAAAAAA D: my hands hurt </3
